Sugar Bowl Challenge.

It’s amazing how difficult it is to make a Christmas card in the middle of March!! Christmas is my most favourite time of year and I have never had a problem making cards for christmas – until now. I don’t know how many times I have sat down to make a card for this fortnight’s Sugar Bowl challenge only to drift off on a tangent and end up with something all-together un-christmassey!! Och well, I have managed it by relying on a sketch (from the Sketch and Stash challenge) and some of my all time favourite papers by Ki Memories. I have coloured the image with promarkers and added lots of ice stickles – which as usual you can’t really see in the photo. I wish someone would invent a “glitter setting” on these cameras!!

Mojo Moday challenge and Charisma Cards

I thought this would go for these two challenges as I have followed the Mojo sketch this week and as Daisy is arguably one of the prettiest stamps around, she would qualify for Charisma’s “Pretty Card” challenge. I have coloured her with Marvy pens and the patterned paper is BG Gypsy. The colours look a wee bit more washed out than they are in real life but I’m a bit pants at this whole photography thing!

Thanks for looking and for all the lovely comments. I really appreciate them.

Hugs.

It’s blowin’ a hooly here!!

If you don’t happen to be from Scotland then let me translate that for you… it’s very windy!!! It’s a real “staying in ” night here tonight, the rain’s lashing the windows. Perfect crafting weather in fact. I’m actually considering an early (by my standards) night. My MiL moved house yesterday and OMG – it was more stressful than when we moved ourselves. She’s only gone about 5 doors down the road but I don’t think she really grasped the concept of what downsizing actually means. Ok, the house is smaller but the contents appear to be about the same. And as anyone will tell you 2 into 1 does not go!!! By some divine intervention we did it but whatever slight inclination I may have had to hoard things is totally gone. I’m cured of keeping rubbish.

Anyway, I have self-medicated again tonight by prescribing “one large dose of cardmaking – to be taken orally” lol. I am still lurving the chocolate orange combo thing so am covering two challenges with this card. First I have used the lovely Sketch Saturday sketch and secondly have used my favourite colours – which qualifies me for the challenge at Stamp Something which is “Favourite Something”. This is my latest aquisition, one of the new Leanne Ellis stamps from Funky Kits. I have also used the gorgeous Stampin Up papers – just about run out so must stock up on them when I have my little party in a few weeks time!!

Right, Chris is playing MarioKart on the Wii so off to join him and make a total fool of myself!!!
