A Spoonful of Sugar – Torn Edges challenge.

Our challenge over on A Spoonful of Sugar this week is to use torn edges somewhere on your card. I think just about every edge is torn on mine!!! I have also used my other favourite things as you can see – yes it’s Gorjuss girl again. Do these stamps have individual names by the way?? I’m sure they do but have no idea what they are!! I am loving my sewing machine so there is stictching on there too, oh and of course, glitter. The DP is Basic Grey, Lily Kate and the ribbon is We R Memory Keepers – matched that BG range perfectly.
The other DT cards are just brilliant this week (as always) and there is a great prize on offer too from Nutcrafters so pop on over and have a go at the challenge. Can’t wait to see what you all come up with.

Oh yeah and I made it in to the top 5 last week in the Cupcake Challenge (my chocolate orange Gorjuss girl card). How chuffed am I. Thanks so much for picking me you guys, it was a great sketch.

Well I finally managed to make it along to the card club run by Dawny P in Ellesmere Port last night. I had a lovely time and met some lovely ladies. “Aunty Jean” showed me the ropes and was kind enough to share her stuff with me as I had flown out of the door at such speed I’d left half my tool kit on my desk!! Thanks for a lovely night Dawn, it was great to meet in person. Hopefully will see you again at the next one – will bring my friend Rajinder along too. She loved the cards we made.

More Gorjussness and a lovley award.

First blonde now pink – what is the world coming to?? Back in the day it wouldn’t have been unusual for my hair to look like this. Me and my best friend Saffron used to dye our hair all kinds of colours – she still does and it’s so HER. She could never go back to a so-called normal colour, for Saff, pink/orange/red is COMPLETLEY normal. I have to say that looking at this girls hair the tempatation to go back to pink is still there. Not sure it’s hubby’s thing though!! I actually love her with pink hair – may work my way through the rainbow now!!

The papers are Stampin’ Up from my prize I won the other week. I love Stampin’ Up stuff and would love to throw a party. If anyone reading this knows how I’d go about that I’d love to know. I’m on the Wirral (near Liverpool) if that’s relevent!!

I have also been given this super pretty award by my lovely blog pal Amanda. Sweetie, thank you so much, I LOVE getting awards and this one is so GORGEOUS.

Ok so I have WAY more than 10 faves but 10 is what it says so here’s who I have chosen today:

Inspired by Mandy.

While doing my daily perusal out in blogland today, I was drawn to Mandy’s blog (A Little Space of My Own) and saw this months GORGEOUS ribbon kit from Raspberry Ribbons. Mandy has just become a new DT for them – yay for you- and has made some AWESOME cards. The colours are so yummy, chocolate and orange and before I could stop myself I was over to RR and have now subbed to their monthly kit!! Mandy, you have certainly earned your spot on that DT today!!! In anticipation of my kit arriving and because I love this colour combo so much (even though I have never used it on a card before) I made this tonight. Mmmmmm….

Oh yeah, almost forgot, this is from the great sketch over at the Cupcake Challenge blog this week. I’ve turned it on it’s side but it is true to the sketch – hope it’s ok?
