Simon Says … Anything Goes

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

I’ve gone all metallic on my card this week – I don’t often combine gold and silver but I think it can work so well together. I used a sheet of the We R Memory Keepers Clearly Posh acetate and added it as a panel on the front of the card with a strip of glitter tape as a border. On the front I used the Memory Box Large Olive Branch die and gave it a two tone embossed treatment in gold and silver. The Avery Elle sentiment die was also embossed in silver to compliment it. I added a couple of Doodlebug gold and silver sprinkles to finish.

Avery Elle … More Party Animals

Popping in with a quick post today to share my card using the fabulous More Party Animals stamp set from Avery Elle. The previously released balloon animal sets have always been hugely popular so to now have an outline version of these images is great – they’re so fun to colour!!

I’m so excited to be featuring one of my favourite companies this week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Blog. I’ve also been playing with one of my favourite sets too – Be A Unicorn. The images in this set are just so adorable – especially the little “cutie marks” you can embellish them with!! I also used some of the new dies from the recent Spring 2016 release – Pierced Clouds – love these! I created a hint of sky by blending some Avery Elle Sea Glass pigment ink onto my card base and stamped some of the teeny stars onto it using the same ink. The little unicorns were coloured with Copics and I added some glitter to their horns and hooves!! I love how girly this looks!
