Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Mask It Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

Argh – it’s that week again!  The one where we showcase Tim Holtz products and I go into a meltdown because I CAN’T. DO. ARTSY!!  I HATE getting ink on me (I always splodge it onto the card) and I struggle with the “grungy” look.  HOWEVER, I bought this new stamp set (Mariner Blueprints) and pulled out my Distress Inks and got to work.  I still think it’s “me” but still has that “Tim” look too 😉

Avery Elle … Tough Guy

I’m up on the Avery Elle Blog today sharing a card I made using the new Tough Guy stamp set from the Summer release.  This is such a cool set for making those much maligned cards for men.  I used my favourite paper pad of all time (Everyday Collection) and coloured my strong man with Copics.

I confess that I’m ADDICTED to heat embossing and the Distress Ink Lifting technique at the moment … it is also very fogiving, as I can touch up any partial stamping with a Versamark Pen => THANK YOU for the chance to win such a COOL TOOL, I DREAM of becoming a better stamper!!!
