Waltzing Mouse – more doughnuts anyone?!

 

Hello there – phew, what a frantic couple of weeks I’ve had!  Just managing to grab a wee half hour to myself to share another I created as a guest designer for Waltzing Mouse Stamps.  I’ve loved playing with these coffee and doughnut themed stamps  – the sentiments are just fantastic!  The images I’ve used on my card today are all from the gorgeous We Go Together stamp set along with the co-ordinating dies.  Cute or what?!   I used Copics to colour the images and then cut them out using the dies.

Simon Says … Furry Friends

As a cat lover and owner of two of the cutest kitties ever, this set from Newton’s Nook called Naughty Newton really makes sense to me!  It has come fab images of Newton getting into trouble but the one that hits home the most to me is this one where he’s clawing the furniture!  I have so many ruined chairs because of this kind of activity!!  I took some wood effect paper and simply cut some shapes to create a sideboard and then stamped just the claw marks in Versamark and heat embossed them in white.  The I stamped and coloured the kitty and cut him out and then placed him so he looked like he was scratching the furniture! For the background I used some paper from the July Simon Says Stamp card Kit and also stamped some bits and pieces from the To Thine Own Shelf stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.

Avery Elle: Bring On The Cake

Hey there – hope you had a great weekend?!  We had a houseful for our 20th anniversary party – a wild west hoedown!  It was great fun and fabulous to be surrounded by some amazing friends!

My card today features the gorgeous Bring on the Cake stamp set from Avery Elle.  I love the images in this set – they’re a bit different from the more usual style (I love the bundt cake in there – cute!!).

I coloured the cake with Copics and created a frame using the pierced circles dies – love these!
