Avery Elle … Punny Pantry

This week over the Avery Elle Blog I’m sharing a card created with the fabulous Punny Pantry Stamp set.  This set is so fun and allows you to whip up quick and funky cards in no time at all!  I created a wee 4 bar sized card from white cardstock and used the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Dots stencil to create a subtle pattern to the background using Avery Elle lemon Grass ink.  I then die cut a scalloped frame from the Scalloped Pierced Rectangles collection

And guess what?  The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is celebrating it’s 8th birthday this week!

To celebrate this week we are showcasing products from Simon Says Stamp.  You don’t have to use them for the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

So this week, I thought I’d pull out one of my ALL TIME favourite Simon Says Stamp sets – Artful Flowers.  There’s something about the simplicity of the flowers that I just love!  I created a landscape A2 card and used the Tiny Dots stencil with some Avery Elle Lemon Grass pigment ink to give me a subtle texture to the background.  The I stamped several of the flowers in Versamark and heat embossed them in white before using Zig Clean Colour Real Brush markers to colour them in.  I created a wee video if you’d like to watch the process!!

Avery Elle … Pegasus Duo

AE Logo

Hello!  This week on the Avery Elle Blog I’m featuring the cuter-than-all-that Pegasus Duo stamp set.  These wee guys compliment Heather’s other little Be A Unicorn stamp set so well – can’t wait to pair them up together.  I thought I’d create a little night sky using the little star cluster stamp from the set and one of the sparkle stamps from Retro Ornaments.  I created a moon by just doodling some “craters” on a white Double Pierced Circle die cut using a grey Copic marker.  The Pegasuses (Pegasi??) were just coloured with Copics and then nestled into some clouds I created using the Cloud Border die set!
