I love Stamping Bella stamps for colouring – they’re so fun!  I particularly like this image because poppies are one of my favourite flowers and I love her dress!!  I used my MISTI to stamp her a few times to get a really good coverage on her hair – in the past without the MISTI her hair would NOT be that solid, lol!!  I coloured her in with Copics and finished with a sentiment from the Avery Elle die set, Sentimental and a few little drops of Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard to the flower centres.

As soon as I saw the words PINK and HERO ARTS together I knew I had the perfect stamp set for this challenge.  The Colour Layering Flamingo set is possibly my favourite Hero Arts set of all time.  I’ve used it so much and I’ll never get bored of it!  For the background I stamped one of the images from the Brushtrokes set from Tim Holtz in Cracked Pistachio Oxide Ink.  I spritzed some gold Heidi Swapp shimmer over the top and set it aside to dry.  Meanwhile I stamped my flamingo using 3 different Simon Says Stamp inks (listed below) using the MISTI to make sure everything was lined up perfectly and added the beak and legs in Smoke ink.  I die cut the Hugs from black glitter paper using the Avery Elle Simply Said: Hugs die and cut a strip of MFT striped grey paper before assembling everything on the front of the card.  I finished it off with a few little dots of Nuevo jewel drops in Rosewater here and there.

Touch of Pink HA

Avery Elle … Carousel

Hello there!  I’m popping in today with a card I made using the fabulous Carousel stamp set from Avery Elle Stamps.  I stamped the carousel horse image in Versamark and heat embossed him in silver I wanted a pastel colour scheme to go with the bling of the foiled background and silver embossing so I chose some Copic shades and carefully coloured him.  A sprinkling of sequins and it’s done.
