Cupcake Crafts challenge sketch.

Evening one and all, hope you’ve enjoyed your day in your part of the world. We have had a gloriously sunny day here – I feel as if summer is just around the corner.

This is my card for today – it’s my take on Lauren’s amazing sketch for this week’s Cupcake Crafts Challenge. This is the last challenge I will be able to enter as our DT term starts next week. It’s so exciting, can’t wait to show you what I and the other DT girls have made for our first one. You’ll have to wait though – don’t want to give the theme away!!! As you can see I haven’t stuck to the sketch completley – instead of three embellishments in a row in the corner, I have put three flowers there layered up. I think I’ll get away with it though! I have used one of the Gorjuss stamps and put diamond glaze on her hair and boots. I love the combination of black and pink – it’s funky!!

Thank you to everyone who enterred – I had a great time reading everyones favourite things – learned a few new ones along the way too. I am planning to do another candy sometime quite soon to celebrate my new DT position on the Cupcake Crafts Challenge blog so keep an eye out for that.

A Few of My Favourite Things

To celebrate my 100th follower (thanks Kathrin – hugs) and reaching nearly 12,000 hits, I have put together a candy made up of a few things I love.

1. “Postbox” by Sugar Nellie. Who doesn’t love these beautiful stamps. This is the latest addition (don’t worry – I ordered 2!!) to my growing collection.

2.As bling is my thing I have included some adhesive gems in my favourite colours – pink, blue and red. I couldn’t be without these.

3. Basic Grey “Oh Baby Girl” collection. 6″x6″ papers in all the patterns in the collection. My favourite BG ever.

4. Sticky ribbon. To complement the papers in orange tones – Frills from Prima.

Ok, whad’ya have to do to get your paws on this stash?? Well I want to know what your favourite crafting thing is. It could be a gadget, a technique, a shop, a product or even a brand. Leave a comment under this post and and put a link on your blog.

I’ll draw a name on 1st April. I’m happy to post worldwide and if you don’t have a blog, just email me.
Good luck!
