Cupcake Crafts Challenge #34 FOLDS

This week is the first of the new design teams challenges at the Cupcake Crafts Challenge blog and boy did I find it tough!! The theme is to make something using at least 2 folds so I had to go searching for some inspiration. I had a look over on Splitcoast Stampers where I found a link to this You Tube video. I made this box using a sheet of 12 x 12 double-sided paper but you can make smaller boxes with smaller sheets as long as you start with a square. It’s a great tutorial and I can imagine it making a lovley Christmas box or for Halloween treats etc.

All the new DT’s creations are absolutley amazing and so completley different. That’s what’s so great about the challenges – everyone’s vision of a particular theme is unique and you get such a lot of variation. Hope you all check out the blog and have a go at the challenge too – can’t wait to see what you all come up with!!

Cupcake card – my new stamps!

Guess what the postie dropped through my door this morning? It was the gorge-alicious blog candy I won from my Cupcake teamie Sandy. They came from the States in mega quick time so wasn’t expecting them to arrive so soon!!

Well of course I didn’t waste any time in getting them inked up and as my daughter Olivia had her best friends party this afternoon I thought it was a great excuse to whip up a little card for the occasion! These stamps are so cool because you can mix and match the tops to the cases and add a cherry or sprinkles or candles etc. There’s are also some little teeny greetings too – they’re fab. Ok, of to watch the Apprentice. We Sky +ed it on Wednesday and I have so far managed to avoid finding out who was fired.

Have a great Sunday!

A quickie!

No, not the rude kind! This is just a very quick little card I put together last night using this pretty stamp I got from a lady over on UK Scrappers. It’s coloured with PM’s and diamond glazed. This is my “less is more” approach – it’s a wee bit bare I think – not too sure about it but never mind!!
