Stamp With Us and PTW.

This is the first chance I’ve had to get a card made for the Stamp With Us challenge which is a recipe this week – 2 patterned papers, 1 ribbon and 4 brads. I just never seemed to get the time latley so I am doubly chuffed to be able to enter this card for PTW too. Quite by accident, it meets the brief of Spots and Stripes!! The papers are Stampin Up!, the image is Stamping Bella and everything else is just my stash. It’s been there so long I don’t remember where on earth it came from!!
Hope you’re enjoying some sun in your part part of the world. My 9 year old son in his quest to find his DS charger has lost my car keys (it’s a long story) and so whilst he is up in the Lakes with Olivia and Dad (probably with said keys in his pocket) I am “trapped” at home with the other 3 children. Thankfully it’s sunny so they’re all happy as Larry playing in the garden and on their bikes etc. I was planning on taking them up to The Blue Planet tommorrow though as I think it’s meant to rain and it’s mostly indoors there. I don’t think I’ll survive if I can’t get out of here 2 days running!! The search will continue after I’ve had a cuppa to calm me down! Wish me luck….

Charisma cards challenge 17 – Thank You!

I have managed to make a card – yay! I have been so busy these last couple of weeks with my other job – managing our property portfolio – that it has been seriously interfering with my crafting time. It always happens like this. Not just one tenant moves out – 3 do at once. So I have been running around all over the place arranging for new tenants to move in etc which has had me pooped!

This card is for this weeks Charisma Cards Challenge which is Thank You’s. I have used one of my favourite colour combo’s – brown and orange, a lovley Rachelle Anne Miller stamp, promarkers and ribbon from a Raspberry Ribbons kit. The papers are all Stampin Up – from Steph :0). I used my trusty old circle punches to make the flowers then scrunched them up and added a button.

Right, it’s turned REALLY dark and gray here so better go and get my washing off the line before the heavens open. It was glorious when I got up this morning :0(
Hugs,

A Spoonful of Sugar – # 49 – Colour scheme – blue and green.

Happy Tuesday one and all and hello to a new challenge over at A Spoonful of Sugar. It’s a nice, simple one this week – create something using the colour scheme blue and green. I must have had this Doodlebug paper in my stash for YEARS but I thought of it as soon as I saw this challenge. It is my nephew’s 2nd birthday on bank holiday Monday so this is what I created for him. Although it’s quite plain I’m actually rather pleased with how it turned out. The boat is from the New Arrivals cricut cartridge cut in layers and embossed. The number 2 is done using Plantin Schoolbook.

It was my choice of Guest Design Team member this week too and I picked the fabulously talented and ever-so-special Steph. Her card is just so beautiful as are all of the other DT’s. Hope you get the chance to pop over and have a look and join in the challenge too. Our prize this week has been generously donated by Helene at Alota Rubber Stamps.
