Well I had a wee bit of help from my son with this week’s card!  He’s an origami master and I saw him making bows (just randomly, like any 17 year old boy does) and thought – wow, I’ll have one of them!!  So I gave hime some Taylored Expressions polka dot paper (in green ofcourse) and voila – a beautiful folded bow!  The card didn’t need much more than that!!  Cute or what?!

Avery Elle … Mimosas

My card over on the Avery Elle Blog this week features the gorgeous Mimosas Clear stamp set and dies.  I used the floral image in the background and stamped the sentiment along the top using two inks for a gradient effect.  The glasses were coloured and die cut then coated with Glossy Accents to add that little summink!!!

Avery Elle … Mother’s Day

Today’s card over on the Avery Elle Blog has been created using the gorgeous Mother’s Day stamp set from Avery Elle.  There is a simple flower cluster than can be coloured in so many different ways – I water coloured it here using Kuretake Gansai paints, haven’t played with them in a while.  I framed the sentiment by stamping the cluster above and below it and went for a purple colour scheme (my Mother-in-Law’s favourite).
