Avery Elle … Bubbles

Oops – this should’ve been on my blog yesterday but here I am with a card using the gorgeous Bubbles set from Avery Elle.  I broke out my new Prismacolour pencils for this one – love them!  The watery background was made using Distress Oxide inks on the back of vellum – I don’t think it’ll dry but it’s on the back so it won’t matter anyway!!  Love the Horizontal Stripes die too – can’t get enough of it!!  Check out the Avery Elle Stamps Blog every day for lots of inspiration!

Simon Says … Summer Sunshine

wed-newchallenge-header

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Anything Goes Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is

Summer Sunshine

This week we are showcasing our very own Simon Says Stamp Products. You don’t have to use them for the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store

So, for this week’s challenge I have blatantly channeled my inner Debby Hughes.  I saw THIS amazing card a few weeks ago which prompted me to purchase a set of Prisma Coloured Pencils AND the stamp set, Summer Flowers from Simon Says Stamp.  They are a different type of colouring medium to what I usually use (watercolours, Copics etc) and I think it’s going to take some time before I can create anything anywhere near the standard of Debby’s – but a girl can dream!!

Supplies:

Summer Flowers Stamp Set (SSS)

Prismacolour Pencils

Stitched Rectangle Dies (SSS)

Wishing and Sending Stamps and Dies (SSS)

So now it’s YOUR turn, Happy Crafting
Do you use Instagram ?  If so please add  #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too.
You have until Wed  8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in

Avery Elle … Tropics

Hello Monday!  It’s my turn over on the Avery Elle Blog today and I’m sharing a nifty one layer card using the amazing Tropics stamp set.  I combined three gorgeous Avery Elle pigment inks (Celery, Jungle and Lemon Grass) and off-set the outline image over the top using Truffle ink.  The sentiment is from the Floral Bouquet set which I made sure to stamp first so I could arrange the various tropical leaves around it.  An easy to recreate and mass-produce design which would be ideal for a masculine birthday!
