Charisma Cards Guest DT – Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend.

It’s my second week as a GDT over at Charisma Cards and this week the challenge is to use diamonds (they don’t have to be real!!) on your card. This is right up my street as I adore all things sparkly and it gave me the perfect excuse to use these gorgeous gem snowflakes I’ve had for ages. This is my favourite of the new Miss Anya trio and for the first time ever I have attempted darker skin. I think I need more practice TBH!!

She is coloured with Promarkers and I’ve used that puffy stuff you heat! As you can probably tell I’ve forgotten what it’s called!! I have put a rub on “Merry Christmas” on there – 10 points to anyone who spots it though!!!

By the way, did anyone notice that cheeky little extra column that’s appeared on my blog?? My Promarker and Cupcake teamie Ida sent me a link to a fab tutorial and hey presto, I managed to follow it!! Now if I can just learn to read challenge rules properly I might be on to something, lol!!

Ok, have a great day all. Have stacks to do – as always!

A Spoonful of Sugar #56 – Sketch by Michelle,

We have a lovely sketch to follow this week over at A Spoonful of Sugar created by the gorgeous Michelle. The DT have all done fabulous cards with it so pop over to the blog for a look. We also have a great prize on offer from the Character Cafe. Here is my card featuring one of the gorgeous new Anya stamps. She coloured with promarkers and the paper is Doodlebug. The ribbon and felt flowers came from this months gorgeous kit from Raspberry Ribbons.

Right, on with the housework (boo hoo).

Passion For Promarkers #4 – Berry Red and Royal Blue

Tuesday challenge
It’s time for a new challenge over at Passion For Promarkers and this week the colours we want to see are Berry Red and Royal Blue. I was a tad worried when I first set out to make this card as these colours are not ones I would normally put together. However, when I started to see what the other DT members were coming up with I felt inspired and came up with mine!!

I have used a Greeting Farm digi download, Dorothy Anya (sans the dog!) and been quite simple with the colouring this week sticking to the main challenge colours on the dress and then a mixture of vanilla, mustard and a touch of cocoa for the hair. The papers are from a DCWV stack I bought on QVC. Our prize this week is from Whimsy Stamps and is a gorgeous Princess Emma stamp.

Ok, this is a quick one as I didn’t get time to schedule this post and am meant to be in the car on the way to the dentist right now!!

Will pop back later with my Spoonful of Sugar card!!

Hugs,
