This week the challenge is

Anything Goes

We are showcasing Studio Light Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

Despite it being the start of summer I am always thinking of the festive season! So this week for the Anything Goes challenge I decided to go with a frosty winter vibe! I used this gorgeous embossing folder from Studio Light called Ice Crystals and created a panel on Distress Watercolour card using Pastel Green Ink to deboss the design onto the card. I then added a coating of Distress Rock Candy Glitter to the surface to give it a truly frosty appearance.

For the sentiment I used the Peace die cut from the Simon Says Stamp CZ Design Holiday Typewriter Trio dies and coloured it using the same Pastel Green Ink.

I added a band of card around the panel then popped it up on foam tape and added a die cut Snowflake coated in Rock Candy glitter and added an enamel dot to finish it off.

Bright and Cheerful

We are showcasing Simon Says Stamp Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

The Happy Rainbows Stencil set is such a fun and versatile product. Its a large stencil so I was able to create two cards with one stencilled piece – bargain!!!

For this Bright and Cheerful challenge I picked some of my favourite Concord and 9th inks (Poppy, Honeysuckle, Grapefruit, Buttercup, Marmalade, Ballet Slipper ) and blended them to create a citrusy coloured rainbow. I then used the patterned stencil with some Altenew White Embossing Paste and added some glitter whilst it was still wet. To finish I added a sentiment using the Simon Says Stamp Happy Combos Stamps and Dies.

I created a second card using the other half of the stencilled design and paired it with the Simon Says Stamp Birthday Wishes die set.

Things With Wings

We are showcasing Memory Box Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I absolutely love the Azure Dragonflies Dies from Memory Box – they are so delicate and detailed. I die cut them from foiled card and layered the wings with vellum. I paired them with some simple die cuts and a panel of patterned paper.
