I have a card using one of my favourite sets from the CHA 2016 release from Avery Elle up today – Be A Unicorn. This set was designed by my fellow teamie, Heather and I just love it. I paired it with a few other Avery Elle essentials to create this card from my niece’s first birthday. I love the Avery’s Alphas dies for personalising a special birthday card.

I used the fabulous Starlight stencil from The Stencil Girl to add a subtle texture to my base card before layering on some gorgeous blooms from Altenew’s Layered Lily set. I adore the images in this stamp set and the love how they look against the pretty background (created with Avery Elle Lemon Grass ink – my current favourite colour to use). I made good use of my MISTI for this card too – it really helps me when creating layered images and placing sentiments too – can’t live without it!!

Hey there! I have a couple of cards up on the Avery Elle Design Blog today. The first is a card I made for my Daddy’s birthday way back in March! I love the Best Ever stamp set – the size and mix of fonts is just awesome (and of course I couldn’t help pairing it with my favourite little shark pal!!).
Next up is a simple little card using the Banner and Wreath stamp set. I am in LOVE with the Lemon Grass pigment ink from Avery Elle – I have used it on so many cards recently. It is such a fabulous colour and seems to complement anything else you put it with!! The pigment inks are amazing at blending too – love them!! The sentiment is from the Sentimental die collection.
