I’m back again today with another little glimpse of what’s to come for the month of May at Clearly Besotted Stamps.  Have you been enjoying the sneaks so far?  Today I have a card featuring the new Monogrammed set of stamps and co-ordinating dies.  I’ve been at it again with the gold Delicata inkpad (can’t express how much I love this ink) and a gold Wink of Stella pen for some added bling!  I achieved the bands by masking off areas of the card but I wasn’t that happy with the bold look of it and went over it with a water brush to give a more water-coloured effect.

Oh, and if you’re wondering – D and J are my mum and dad!!

Well – here I am still playing catch up!!  My first projects as a blog design team member at Taylored Expressions was up over on their blog last week and I am so happy to now be sharing them here. I’ve been busy creating some projects with the Bon Voyage stamp set and a few of the amazing TE dies and here’s what I came up with.

I’m starting with a card I made for my Dad’s birthday.  He’s working away from home at the moment in a ship builders firm and so this sentiment and image were the perfect combination for his card.

My next project uses another image from the Bon Voyage set but this time I used it to create a little treat packaging idea.

And last but not least I created this card as a request from my son Daniel who needed a card in a hurry for his friend (who happens to be a keen sailor)!  How appropriate that I still had this set out on my desk!  Oh, and I can’t take credit for the knot – Daniel did that!!
