Avery Elle – Dotted Dies

Good morning everyone – here today with a card I made using one the amazing new dies from Avery Elle.  The Dotted Elle-ments set contains a large dotted frame that fits perfectly onto the front of a standard A2 card and here I’ve used it with some twine to give a stitched look to my card.  For the back ground I used some hearts from the Sending You stamp set as well as the little paper aeroplane and dashed “trail”.  The sentiment is also from that set.  The cute wee character is Goldie from Red and Goldie.

dotted 1There are some VERY exciting things happening behind the scenes at Avery Elle that I’m DYING to spill the beans about but my lips are sealed for now.  Let’s just say – it’s something you’re ALL going to go gaga over – that is all!!

Avery Elle and Scrapbook Adhesives Blog Hop!

Hello there – glad you could pop by today.  This week I’ve been playing with some fantastic adhesive supplies by Scrapbook Adhesives along with some of the latest products from Avery Elle.

My first card uses some of the heart-shaped foam pads.  I pulled out some neon glitters and neon ink pads so the recipient might need sunglasses when they get this!!Scrapbook Ad blog hop 1

The next card is a shaker card using the Balloons die set, Happy word die and large frame from Dotted – all from Avery Elle.  I blended the same neon inks that I used for the card above but it’s not quite as “IN YOUR FACE” as the previous one, lol!!Scrapbook Ad blog hop 2

Right – down to business – today we’re sharing designs using some of the new products available in the AMAZING Summer 2014 release from Avery Elle.  My little heart skipped a beat when I saw all the fabulous designs we were being given to work with.  What’s on your wishlist?  Everything I bet!!

Today I’m featuring the gorgeous Many Thanks stamp set:

Don’t you LOVE all those different fonts and sentiments?!  I also absolutely adore the little diamond image too – I’m going to get a TON of use out that!  I’ve been big and brave and cut the diamond apart from the sentiment to give me even more options!!   I used the masking technique to make my diamond border and stamped them using Memento London Fog ink on a white panel.  I cut around the border and then filled in the facets of the diamond using a quickie glue pen and then added the Prisma glitter – happy sigh!!  I stamped the greeting in the bottom corner and then mounted the panel on the card base.  I was going to stop there but felt it was just a little TOO CAS so I took the little trio of stars from the Party Animal set and stamped them in a trail across the top half of the card – adding a few tiny gems for extra sparkle!! Right – you better get on your way to the next stop on the hippity hop!  HEATHER CAMPBELL has something FABULOUS in store for you over on her blog – ENJOY!!
