Sundaes on a Tuesday!!

Here’s a couple of cards I’ve done using the gorgeous new download from Pink Petticoat. I love the soft ice-creamy colours – they are so yummy. Actually, I think my sweet tooth is manifesting itself in my crafts – the last few cards I’ve made have all had a kind of “sweet” theme!!
The second card is actually my take on this weeks sketch at A Spoonful of Sugar – great sketch Debbie. I still can’t believe I’m actually on their DT now. I’m still pinching myself!!
I’m entering them at The Pink Elephant challenge which this week is “All that Glitters”. Although it’s tricky to see, the sundaes are covered in glamour dust which is my favourite glitter EVER!

I am SO excited I could burst!!

I cannot believe it yet but I have been asked to join the design team at A Spoonful of Sugar challenge blog!! Debbie emailed me this afternoon and obviously I accepted the offer in a flash. I am so utterly thrilled and flattered to be asked and amazingly honoured to be amongst a group of such talented designers as those on the team. It’s a wee dream come true for me!!

Another good thing about getting this news is that it has managed to see off the hangover I have been suffering with all day! We had a Valentine’s dinner party last night and managed to consume 7 bottles of wine and various cocktails between the 6 of us! The night culminated in a chorus of ABBA singstar numbers – boys v girls – and a very late night. It was a lot of fun and thankfully my chocolate fondants turned out fine! Phew!

Off to smile annoyingly for the rest of the day and tonight I am going to make my first card as an official DT member for A Spoonful of Sugar!! How cool is that?

3 Cupcakes 3 Challenges!

For the “Chocolate Challenge” at Stamp Something.

For the “LOVE” challenge at The Cuttlebug Spot

For the “Cupcake Challenge” at Charisma Cards

I just got these cupcakes images from a download at the Cutting Cafe and think they’re just so cute! I had a nightmare printing them as my printers (I have an inkjet AND a laser) didn’t want to play and wouldn’t print on card! I eventually managed it but I was nearly smashing the things to pieces by the end of it. Does anyone else have trouble with their printers and cardstock?
Anyway, I had a great time playing with them last night (didn’t get to bed till 2am) and have 3 challenges covered.
The Cuttlebug Spot (the pink one with the hearts – the challenge is to use the word “LOVE”);
Charisma Cards (The challenge is “Cupcakes so take your pick) and
Stamp Something (the challenge is “Something Chocolate” so either of the two chocolate cupcakes would be ok.)
DH was working overnight last night so as such I haven’t seen him as yet. We are having a Valentine’s dinner party tonight so I need to get on and start prepping. I’m attempting chocolate fondants with a chocolate chilli sauce!! I’ll let you know if it turns into a total disaster!!!
Have a lovely day wherever you are. My neighbours are celebrating their Golden Anniversary today – only just found out so need to rustle up a quick card to pop through their door!!
