VODKA!

Ok, so it was the only Russian word that popped into my head when I was trying to think of something witty and Russain to say about this card!!! These are my (other) new Hero Arts stamps that I’ve had for a week and have only just managed to get round to playing with. I think they’re just a gorgeous set with lots of useable little things on there. I’ve used the lovely glitter card from the Glitter Stack (DCWV) and cut the scalloped square on my Cricut. I have diamond glaszed the whole of each of the dolls and hope you can’t tell where I put a peice of card right on top of them 2 mintues after I put the DG on!!! Luckily it didn’t end up a TOTAlL disaster and I was able to just about get away with it (don’t look TOO closely).

It is my entry for this weeks Dawny P sketch over at Papertake Weekly.

An award and a new header!!!

The amazingly talented and brilliant Michelle (BCR8IV) has passed this very attractive award on to me. She makes some of the best cards I have ever seen and is so inspiring. You need to look at her wonderful blog – she is giving away some fabulous candy at the moment too to celebrate her blogaversary. Well done Michelle.
I now have to name 7 things I love:
1. My amazing family
2. Crafting the wee small hours away
3. My Martha Stewart punches!
4. Having long nails (doesn’t happen very often – I’m a biter)
5. Going to the movies.
6. Going to the theatre – especially musicals.
7. Eating out (with pudding)
I am now passing this on to 8 other wonderful women who I love to call my blogging friends and who support me and encourage me in my little crafting adventures!!!
1.Catherine (Crafty Red)
3. Mina (Pink puds)
5. Dawny P (Pink Piggy)
6. Tracie (Pink Angel)
Please go and check them out if you haven’t already.
Well, regular visitors may have noticed something rather special has appeared at the top of my blog. Yes, I am very proud to display my gorgeous and glittery new header made for me by the very sweet and mega-talented Jo from the SiggiShop. She’s designed loads of blogs and has given me the most perfect header I could’ve wished for. Thank you so much Jo, I now finally feel complete (in a blog-design sense that is!!).
Have a great night y’all!

The Sugar Bowl Challenge #3

The papers on this card are from a K&Co kit I bought on QVC eons ago. It really isn’t my style as it’s so floral and chintzty (?) but now that the card is finished I love it. This stamp is another of my recent discrete purchases I have made (looks over shoulder to make sure there are no spies around) and thought she went with the papers very nicely.
It is my entry for The Sugar Bowl challenge which is Love and Romance. Nothing says romance like roses now does it?
