..with the sewing machine!! I love this cut from the Mickey and friends cricut cart. She’s great for a little girls birthday card I think. I had a bit of a problem with the daimond glaze which went on a wee bit thick in places so tried to cover it up with glitter!! Not brilliant but hopefully the sparklies will distract people from the mistake!! The pp is from a HUGE pack I got at Costco yonks ago. Most of it got given away to the kids craft box but I did keep a few select sheets – namely the pink ones!!

My latest "thing" is…

..STITCHING! I LOVE stitching on cards but being inherently lazy, I have never had the inclination to drag my sewing maching out from the bottom of my wardrobe. Well last night I had an urge to dust it off so get used to seeing some random higgeldy piggeldy lines appearing on most of my cards for the forseeable future. lol. I tried it out on this card which is for this weeks Sketch Saturday challenge. It was a great sketch to follow and as you can see it’s that girl again. This time her hair has a more “auburn” look to it.

Oh and guess what? My promarkers came this morning! I only ordered them yesterday so that really is service. Thanks for the hints and tips you’ve given me so far and for the article Julie. I have had a play and they are very different to my usual technique. Will have to practice with them a bit I think.

I’ve been a naughty girl!!

I couldn’t hold off any more and have ordered some promarkers from Silly Monkey!! I hummed and hawed for about 2 hours over which ones to go for so in the end opted for Manga sets 1 and 3 and a couple of single ones. I have no idea how to use them but am hoping (hint, hint) that promarker extraordinaire Dawny P might be able to give me a few tips when I get to her card club in a couple of weeks. I didn’t quite make it to the last one because of the snow so am determined that I’ll get to the next one. If anyone else has any useful tips for me in the meantime I’d be most grateful!!
