The Sugar Bowl Challenge.

Right, now that I have “read and understood the rules” I think I have a card that qualifies for this challenge – i.e a Sugar Nellie image!! I had a spot of bother last wek but I’ll move on (blush). Anyhoo, I have just bought this amazing stamp from Funky Kits and absolutley adore it. I have used my trusty old Marvy pens and water brush to clour her in and try as I might – I can’t NOT add glitter. The challenge is “Three” and I have used three different papers (all from Shabby Princess range by Bo Bunny) and three primas. There are three different types of embellishment too – ribbon, gems and primas.
I did the girl with blonde hair as she reminds me of my little Georgia. She has lovely long blonde hair which is usually in plaits for school. She’s also smitten by any kind of wildlife so this stamp is perfect for her.

Sketch Saturday Challenge

Ok, I know it’s the unicorn again but I do love her so!! I had to do one in pink! This one is called Candy the Pinkalicious Unicorn! I have followed the sketch for this week’s challenge on the Sketch Saturday blog. The papers are alll Shabby Princess by Bo Bunny.

This card is for my Olivia for her next birthday. I am getting a bit ahead of myself mind you – it’s not till October!!!

Sketch and Stash Challenge #2

I know I have tweaked the sketch a little but I stuck to it as much as I could!! The idea of this fun blog is to challenge you to use stash that you’ve never got round to using! I’m very guilty of this – especially with paper and card. I still need to take a paracetemol before I cut up a piece of Bazzil!!
The stamps I used to stamp out “LOVE” are a set I won at the Wirral all day crop over a year ago!! I thought I would never get round to using them as thet’re a bit flowery for me. Now that I have got them out – I love them!! They’re by All Night Media by the way. The other thing I have used here which I was holding on to is the ribbon. I hate using my ribbon and I could probably reach from here to the moon with the amount I’m hoarding!! Anyway, enjoyed this challenge – can’t wait for the next one!!
The card is made from acetate and white card. I have used some flourish stamps on the background as my base layer. The shapes (what are these shapes called by the way – anyone know? They’re everywhere right now) – are cut on my cricut and layered up at various sizes. One pair is stuck on the inside the other is on the outside!! Does that make any sense?? I have added just a little glitter (can’t help it) to the lettering.
