More Gorjussness and a lovley award.

First blonde now pink – what is the world coming to?? Back in the day it wouldn’t have been unusual for my hair to look like this. Me and my best friend Saffron used to dye our hair all kinds of colours – she still does and it’s so HER. She could never go back to a so-called normal colour, for Saff, pink/orange/red is COMPLETLEY normal. I have to say that looking at this girls hair the tempatation to go back to pink is still there. Not sure it’s hubby’s thing though!! I actually love her with pink hair – may work my way through the rainbow now!!

The papers are Stampin’ Up from my prize I won the other week. I love Stampin’ Up stuff and would love to throw a party. If anyone reading this knows how I’d go about that I’d love to know. I’m on the Wirral (near Liverpool) if that’s relevent!!

I have also been given this super pretty award by my lovely blog pal Amanda. Sweetie, thank you so much, I LOVE getting awards and this one is so GORGEOUS.

Inspired by Mandy.

While doing my daily perusal out in blogland today, I was drawn to Mandy’s blog (A Little Space of My Own) and saw this months GORGEOUS ribbon kit from Raspberry Ribbons. Mandy has just become a new DT for them – yay for you- and has made some AWESOME cards. The colours are so yummy, chocolate and orange and before I could stop myself I was over to RR and have now subbed to their monthly kit!! Mandy, you have certainly earned your spot on that DT today!!! In anticipation of my kit arriving and because I love this colour combo so much (even though I have never used it on a card before) I made this tonight. Mmmmmm….

Oh yeah, almost forgot, this is from the great sketch over at the Cupcake Challenge blog this week. I’ve turned it on it’s side but it is true to the sketch – hope it’s ok?

It’s been a "Papertrey" kinda day!!

My amazing blog buddy Steph (Much Ado About Nothing) very generously loaned me some of her Papertrey stamps aswell as giving me some samples of their papers, card and ribbons!! Isn’t she the kindest girl EVER?? Well, while the baby napped, kids played on the computers, DS’s, Wii’s and whatever, I played with my crafty bits. The only thing I’ve used that wasn’t in the kit Steph sent me was some PM gems and as you know, it has to have bling if it’s been anywhere near me!!! Her blog, A Passion for Papertrey has a challenge on to make a standard C6 card using Papertrey products (not exclusivley, just include them somewhere). The third card which is clearly square (!) obviously does not qualify but the other two do!! The stamp sets I have used are Floral Frenzy, Butterfly Kisses and Around and About Sentiments. The stamps are great to use and the co-ordinating papers, card and ribbons are a dream. Steph has also sent me some samples of the “Chocolate” papers so I can’t wait to have a try with them too. These papers are called Raspberry Fizz and they are just gorgeous.

Well, I promised the kids I’d take them out for dinner so I guess I’d better wash the ink off my hands and step away from the scissors. I only have three of them here as hubby has taken the other two up to the Lakes with his friend. We have a motor boat and a wee apartment in Windermere Marina Village so try to get up there when we can. The apartment is booked out this weekend though so they’re all sleeping on the boat – hence why we all haven’t gone!! It does not make for a great night’s sleep but it is a lot of fun. It’s actually nice to spend some time with the children in smaller numbers too!!
