More Russian dolls.

Ok, there are two of my current favourite things on this card – my Russian Dolls stamps and my scallop edge punch which was also part of my fabby prize from Stampin’Up Emma. It punches much easier than my Martha punch which does struggle at times with cardstock. Thought I’d see what these wee dolls looked like just in simple black and white. The flourish stamp is Basic Grey and I’ve cuttlebugged the bottom bit. This is for the Spoonful of Sugar challenge this week which is “Doodle Do”.
And to Steph if you’re reading this – the catalogue from Stampin Up is VERY, VERY SCARY!! I know what you mean about it being addictive. I have £200 spent in my head already!!!

Daisy, Daisy.

I can’t get enough of this stamp – she is a dream to colour. I can”t seem to be able to do her hair fair though! The colours I use at the moment (Marvy water colour pens) are great but I think I need some of these promarkers or copics you’re all using. I love the depth of colour you get with them. There’s one problem though – where do I start. I think I would become obsessed by the fact that I would need every one of them!! I know I have an addictive personality anyway – these might be the death of me!!
Anyhoo, this is my entry for this weeks challenge at the Sugar Bowl which is to use one piece of design paper. This is my favourite of the moment, DCWV glitter stack paper. Lush. The “With Love” is a stamp I just got from Emma at Something Sweet. It was part of the prize I won on the Sketch Saturday challenge a few weeks ago. Thanks Emma, your prize was AMAZING.
Have a good Friday everyone.

VODKA!

Ok, so it was the only Russian word that popped into my head when I was trying to think of something witty and Russain to say about this card!!! These are my (other) new Hero Arts stamps that I’ve had for a week and have only just managed to get round to playing with. I think they’re just a gorgeous set with lots of useable little things on there. I’ve used the lovely glitter card from the Glitter Stack (DCWV) and cut the scalloped square on my Cricut. I have diamond glaszed the whole of each of the dolls and hope you can’t tell where I put a peice of card right on top of them 2 mintues after I put the DG on!!! Luckily it didn’t end up a TOTAlL disaster and I was able to just about get away with it (don’t look TOO closely).

It is my entry for this weeks Dawny P sketch over at Papertake Weekly.
