Stamp With Us challenge – Thanks

Been playing with my new SU! stamps and made this for the Stamp With Us challenge this week. I picked this set as my hostess gift from my party a few weeks ago. I love it – it’s got so many uses. I have coloured the image with my Promarkers (pumpkin, cinnamon and moss green) and added diamond glaze. The card and pp is also Stampin Up.

Ok, just a quickie today. Am dashing up to Southport later and have some paperwork to organise before then! Have a great day everyone.

A Spoonful of Sugar #51 – BUTTONS

This week over at A Spoonful of Sugar we want to see buttons on your card. Easy peasy!!
This is the first card I’ve made using one of my new stamp sets – Crazy for Cupcakes by Stampin Up! I nearly didn’t get this set but I am SOOOO glad I did – I love it. I have coloured the cake with promarkers as usual and then added some diamond glaze and beads onto the top half. The ribbon is from this months Raspberry Ribbons kit which is an ice-cream theme (and yummy it is too!!).
I made this for my daughter Georgia’s best friend, Eleeta. She had her 7th birthday party on Saturday and is already a budding little crafter so I knew she would appreciate a nice hand made card. No doubt she’ll be picking the beads off to stick on one of her own creations in the near future!!

The DT have made some awesome cards again this week so pop on over and have a look. Our lovely GDT is Debhave a look at her gorgeous blog for some wonderful inspiration.

We also have a fabulous prize donated by Scrapapotomus. Here’s what you could win.

Cupcake Crafts Challenge 39 – Card for a man or a boy.

Denise has set this weeks challenge for us and I have to say, I think it’s probably the biggest challenge we ALL face when a card like this is required!! That’s right, we want a card for a man or boy!!! Eeeek you all cry! I haven’t used this cute little stamp in yonks but for some reason it sprang into my mind as soon as I got the theme. It’s a simple stamp but it’s great for a younger boy’s birthday card I think. I’ve kept this card simple with just a bit of ruffled ribbon and diamond glaze on his mask and fins. I have used the gorgeous Rainbow Sherebert papers from Stampin Up too. Love these!

Hope you all manage to get along and have a go at this challenge. Just think, if you get a male card made now you won’t need to panic next time you need one!!!

Hugs,

ps, just realised this week’s challenge at Colour Create is blue and green so thought this would do perfectly for that too – yay!!
