Cupcake Crafts Challenge 39 – Card for a man or a boy.

Denise has set this weeks challenge for us and I have to say, I think it’s probably the biggest challenge we ALL face when a card like this is required!! That’s right, we want a card for a man or boy!!! Eeeek you all cry! I haven’t used this cute little stamp in yonks but for some reason it sprang into my mind as soon as I got the theme. It’s a simple stamp but it’s great for a younger boy’s birthday card I think. I’ve kept this card simple with just a bit of ruffled ribbon and diamond glaze on his mask and fins. I have used the gorgeous Rainbow Sherebert papers from Stampin Up too. Love these!

Hope you all manage to get along and have a go at this challenge. Just think, if you get a male card made now you won’t need to panic next time you need one!!!

Hugs,

ps, just realised this week’s challenge at Colour Create is blue and green so thought this would do perfectly for that too – yay!!

Bashful blue!

This is currently my favouruite colour in the SU! range – I love it. I love all the colours but for some reason I’m so enjoying this particular one. I have used some Banana Frog flower stamps that I’m just getting back to using. I have stamped some on the PP and others are stamped and cut out. They’ve been glittered (of course) and the sentiment is another old stamp I found lying around!!

It’s hard to see in the photo but I’ve got a MS border on there too!

Right, off to watch last night’s Despereate Housewives while Chris is out at Pint Club. Catchya later!

A Spoonful of Sugar #50 – Touchy Feely and an Award!

It’s Tuesday so it’s time for another fabulous challenge at A Spoonful of Sugar. This week we want to see touchy feely cards – so add some texture. The DT’s cards are gorgeous as always and we have another great prize on offer kindly donated by Bryony at Silly Monkeys.

My card has my favourite little girl again, Daisy by Sugar Nellie. I have added some flower soft to the image in her hair, on the flowers and ground around her and to the centres of the the daisies around the image. I have had this stuff for so long but never really used it much. I quite like the effect you get.

I have been twice blessed this week too with this lovley award from Steph AND Jeannette – two of my favourite bloggers. Thank you so much girls – I am honoured to get it from you both. I will pass it on later when I have a spare minute. I’m meant to be in the car on the way to meet someone now but updating my blog seemed to be much more important!!
