Simon Says Stamp DieCember 2025 Release Blog Hop Day 1

It’s the most exciting event on the Simon Says Stamp Calender … DieCember® ! Welcome to the first of 2 blog hops – be sure to check out the second one tomorrow! You can win a $25 credit for the Simon Says Stamp store for leaving a comment – good luck!

I look forward to this all year and am so happy to be sharing 4 cards created with some of the awesome products in this release.

The first card uses the Fawn Surprise Embossing Folder – how cute are those wee deers?! I ran the folder through with Distress Watercolour Card and then used Distress Watercolour Pencils to colour the image. I used a new die called Pointy Pine Branch to add a little greenery to the corner and finished it off with a Ez Strip Vintage Christmas Sentiments.

The next card also features the Lawn Surprise embossing folder with the Nested Stitched Oval Dies. I decided to leave it uncoloured and added highlights with glitter. I added some Pointy Pine Branch die cuts and mounted it onto the panel embossed and inked using the Dotted Spiral Embossing Folder.

My next card features the Nested Stitched Oval dies with the Pointy Pine Branch. This time I embossed a panel using the Bundled Swag Embossing folder. I embellished it with the Loopy Bow die and the Pointy Pine Branch die cuts.

My final offering features more Pointy Pine Branch die cuts with the gorgeous Sweet Songbird dies. I pulled out a background panel I created a while ago and arranged the songbird dies and the branch die cuts along with a foiled sentiment using the EZ Strips Vintage Christmas.

Hope you enjoyed seeing some ways to use some of the new products from the DieCember release. Enjoy the rest of the hop!

Simon Says … Use Dies (DieCember)

Image

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the Anything Goes Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is

We are showcasing Simon Says Stamp Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I grabbed a few of my favourite Simon Says Stamp dies for this week’s challenge. The Nested Stars are so useful – I didn’t know how much I’d love them until I got them! I die cut two sizes – one from gold metallic card and one from a wood veneer cardstock.

I used the Simon Says Stamp A2 Rectangle Dies to cut one of the gorgeous tartan papers from the Memory Box Jolly Christmas 6×6 paper pad and covered an A2 card front. I used the Charming Berry Branch Die and a brand new die from the amazing DieCember collection (available tomorrow) called Pointy Pine Branch.

To finish I added a foiled sentiment using the Vintage Christmas EZ Strips (LOVE these so much)

Simon Says … Anything Goes featuring Lawn Fawn

Image

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the Masculine Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is

We are showcasing Lawn Fawn Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I started with an A2 card base and then die cut a panel using the Simon Says Stamp A2 Rectangle Dies. I used the Lawn Fawn String of Lights Background Stencils with Concord and 9th inks to create a background and then went over the lights again using Distress Translucent Texture Paste and a coat of Rock Candy Glitter.

I used one of the large Sentiments from Concord and 9th’s Season’s Greetings Stamps and die cut it with a die cut shadow cut from Sweet Pea cardstock to match the ink on the stamped sentiment.
