Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

I had so much fun creating this card – as soon as I saw the In My Heart stamp set from Mama Elephant, I immediately envisioned this little girl popping up out of the cupcake (from Carnival Cupcakes, also by Mama Elephant).  I had to practice a few times to get it right but once I had figured out the logistics it all came together perfectly!  I thought the Doodlebug Springtime paper pad with all of it’s gorgeous happy colours and patterns would be perfect to use on this card and of course the sprinkles are just the icing on the cake (literally!!!).  Just pull up the candle and out she pops – love it!

Clearly Besotted March release – On Your Day

Teaser Time

Hello – I’m back today with a sneak peek at a stunning new set coming from Clearly Besotted this month called On Your Day.  It is a gorgeous floral set with a great wreath building element to it – I just love it.  I kept my card quite simple  and stamped the stem and flowers using the MISTI so I was able to line them up perfectly and double stamp to get a nice, deep impression.

Avery Elle, Get Well

Hey, I’m here with a card featuring the gorgeous Get Well set from Avery Elle.  I stamped the bouquet in Versamark and then heat embossed it in white and added some subtle colour using distress markers as watercolours – I love the softness they give.  I stamped the sentiment onto some vellum using dove grey stazon and then placed it over the top of the image.  To finish I added a panel of Daisy cardstock cut with a scalloped border using Dotted Borders dies and some yellow twine.
