Simon Says … Fun With Felt

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

We are showcasing our very own Simon Says Stamp ‘Spring Plush Release’ Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge, but if you have them we would love to see them used!

My inspiration this week came from a bottle of one of my favourite blush sparkling wines! I loved the design on the label so thought I’d make a little felt hanging decoration that you could use to jazz it up if you were giving it as a gift. I stuck with the red and black theme and used the Black and Cherry felts available from the Spring Plush release. Now it needs to just get popped back in the fridge ready to enjoy on a lovely summer evening in the garden!

Avery Elle … Special Delivery

Hey there, just popping in with a card I created using the fun Special Delivery stamp set from Avery Elle. One of my favourite papers from the Everyday Paper Collection is this gorgeous yellow gingham – and it’s just the perfect backdrop for any baby card! I stamped the two different storks, booties and baby bundle in New Moon dye ink and coloured everything with Copics. I then die cut the images, some Pierced Clouds (in Vellum) and the sentiment (from black card). I love the little pierced scallop die from the Dotted Border Elle-ments collection which I think adds just the right amount of cuteness to this card!

Simon Says … Flowers

With or gardens, pots and parks now coming into bloom we thought our blogs should join in. Whether you choose to use die cuts, stamps or ready made flowers we are sure that they will all be pretty and we are looking forward to seeing what you make!

I love this Prima stamp set called Bayou Flowers. It has a lovely sketchy design and stamps beautifully. I used the purple inks from Altenew for the different layers and love how they turned out.
