Hi there. I’m up on the Avery Elle blog today with my creation using the new Chalet stamp set from the new Fall release. I love the design of this set, it reminds me of the gorgeous Alpine skiing resorts (although I detest skiing!!).
I used the Pierced Clouds die to create a snowbank in front of the houses and a touch of glitter makes it all look so frosty and cosy. I LOVE this set!

Oh Em Gee! It’s here! I love STAMPtember – I get excited about it every year and this year is no different! I’ve had a wee play with one of the sets which is just right up my street! I love a wee glass of wine (or two) now and then. In fact, as you’re reading this I’ll be enjoying the last couple of days of our summer holiday on the island of Crete! I dare say I’ll be sipping a nice cool vino too!
I made a couple of wine bottle tags (using the Large Tags Dies from Simon Says Stamp) and tied them onto the bottles – makes a quick and easy gift, don’t you think? For the red one I added a coating of glossy accents and for the Champagne tag I added a few touches of glitter to the grapes. Don’t you love those sentiments? I couldn’t agree more!

I’m SO excited this week to be featuring Avery Elle on our projects. I also couldn’t help myself and picked one of the new stamp sets I designed for the latest release! As a child I remember being mesmerised by the old glass ornaments on my Gran’s tree. I particularly loved the ones with the indents like little sparkly fairy caves!! That’s what I was trying to recreate with this set and I love how the font adds to the retro feel. Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without some glitter so I added some some nice chunky crystals to the edges of the ornaments. Ahhh, I LOVE Christmas 🙂
