Simon Says … Fabulous Florals

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Fabulous Florals

I’m keeping it clean and simple this week with pops of colour using a tried and trusted combo of shades (see below) and the stunning Colour Layering Large Orchid from Hero Arts.  The top layer is also heat embossed in clear which adds a gorgeous extra detail to the flowers.  To keep the look crisp I die cut the Hugs sentiment (Avery Elle) in white and finished with a smattering of Doodlebug Sprinkles.

Avery Elle … Konnichiwa and Flamingoes

Dashing in with a quick post sharing 3 cards I have up on the Avery Elle Blog today.  I’ve been playing with the Konnichiwa and Flamingo stamp sets – aren’t they fun?!  Everything is coloured with Copics and I couldn’t help but make one of my little girls have pink hair – wish I could still get away with it myself!!

I’ve had a great time using this stamp set from Lawn Fawn – I masked the different smoothie ingredients inside the blender and coloured with Copics before adding a few areas of sparkle with a clear Wink of Stella pen and then copious amounts of Glossy Accents!  I could literally drink that little cocktail right now!!
