Simon Says … Die Crazy

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

I’ve combined a few of my favourite Simon Says Stamp exclusive products to create this card ( I actually sneaked it on Periscope a couple of weeks ago if you saw it!!). The paper and adhesive sequins are from the December Card Kit and then I used the cute kitty from Christmas Cats (LOVE this set). I created an aperture using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles dies and the kitty was coloured with copics and a bit of added sparkle with some Stickles.

Simon Says … Thinking of You

Hey there – it’s a great theme this week, especially around the time of Remembrance and Veterans days – definitely a time to keep folks in our thoughts. Although I know it has a very summery feel to it I was dying to play with this set of Colour Layering Hibiscus flowers from Hero Arts. I bought it a wee while ago and have only just managed to ink it up (did you catch me on Periscope where I created these with the MISTI?). I used some lovely SimonSays Stamp inks (I love how they blend together – perfect for multi-step images like this). I also used the Wavy Scalloped Borders dies – another new-to-me item and I LOVE them!! I have a special family in mind to whom I will be sending this card. Tragically, one of the teachers at my daughter’s school has suddenly passed away – she was amazing and will leave a big gap in her place.

Hey there, it’s time to be thankful on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog this week. It’s that lovely time of year where everything’s turning and the nights are for cosying up in front of the fire with a hot drink and a blankie!! Bliss!

For my card this week I kept it very simple although a wee bit of work went into it to colour that apple (three attempts before I was happy, lol!). I was totally inspired by the way my idol Debby Hughes coloured this stamp and so I went with her lead and smothered it in Glossy Accents too! To ground the image and add a little more interest I just framed the card with a free hand border drawn with a Copic multi liner pen.
