Avery Elle – BUNTING!

Hey there – I’m over on the Avery Elle blog today with a card I created using the gorgeous Bunting stamp set and dies.  I created the aperture using the You’re Invited dies and backed the negative space with some patterned paper from the Everyday Collection paper pad.  I have a TON of thank you cards to make after the Christmas festivities so this is at least a start!!

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas – I ate far too much, drank far too much and slept far too little!!  Here’s to a healthier 2015 for me!!

Avery Elle – Berry Good

Hello there.  I’m whizzing in between wrapping presents, dropping children off at parties, baking and other seasonal delights to share a card featuring the fantastic Berry Good stamp and die sets from Avery Elle.  Anyone who has stepped foot near my blog over the last month will not be surprised that today’s card features lots of GOLD!  Yes, I am officially unable to create anything without it these days!  I embossed the pear stamp in Gold Tinsel embossing powder from Ranger (my favourite) and then used a gold leafing pen to add the adhesive to the inside of the pear image.  The has to dry for a few minutes before you add the gold flakes.  Obviously a photo never captures the shine properyly but I love this product – it’s so pretty.

I used the You’re Invited die to cut the mat from Avery Elle Woodgrain cardstock and some leaves for my pear to nestle on (which came from the Fbulous Florals stamp set – again heat embossed in Gold Tinsel).  The sentiments is from the Joy To The World stamp set.

Right, must dash, have a THOUSAND things left on my to do list before the BIG DAY!!

Big hugs.

Bee Mine – Avery Elle

Hi there – I’m over on the Avery Elle blog today featuring the cutest little stamp set ever, Bee Mine.  This also has a co-ordinating die set with a sweet little dotted “trail” for the bees  – how gorgeous is that?  For the diagonal strip behind the focal image I used two of the border dies from Dotted Borders and also used Finished Frames on the front mat of the card.  I coloured the images with Copics and finshed it all off with a bit of dazzle with some red Stickles and Wink of Stella.
