Hello and welcome to another week! Todays Avery Elle card features another of their fabulous ballon animal stamp sets – the Giraffe! This goes hand in hand with their other sets Party Bunny and Party Animal! I stamped the balloon Giraffe in Versamark onto black card and heat embossed it in clear powder. You can just about make out the detail but black is so hard to photograph!!! I wanted this card to be for my little nephew who just turned 6 so to keep it simple and a bit more “boyish” I added the frame detail using the Scalloped Frame die and die cut some stars from the Finished Frames set. I also cut the Simply Said: Amazing die from black and used the companion stamp set to finish off the sentiment.
Avery Elle – Little Minds
Hello everyone – today on the Avery Elle blog I’m sharing a card using an awesome set called Little Minds designed with teachers in mind. I stamped the apple image with Versamark and heat embossed it in white before colouring it with Zig Clean Colour markers. For the background I used the Pierced Rectangle dies to create a subtle background texture and used some Lemon Grass pigment ink to sponge a small area and placed my die-cut apple over the top. I mounted the panel onto a Lemon Grass notecard (can’t live without these now!!)
Well thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting!!
Time to Seal-abrate!
Hey there – just popping in with a quick post – busy, busy, busy here preparing for our holiday! Today I’m featuring a cutey of a stamp set from Avery Elle called Seal-abrate (gotta love a good pun!). I created a watercoloured panel from Tim Holtz cardstock and then cut it out using the wonky stitches die and then made it into a frame using the smaller of the wonky stitches dies (I’ve saved the middle for another card!). I used one of the gorgeous sequin mixes from Lucy Abrahms for my shakery bits and coloured the seal using Copics!
Pop along to the Avery Elle blog for a daily dose of fabby crafty inspiration from one of the best design teams IN.THE.WORLD!!
