Avery Elle … Holiday Glass and Christmas Packages

Hey there!  I have a couple of cards up on the Avery Elle blog today featuring more of the Fall 2016 release.  First up is a card made with the gorgeous Christmas Packages set that I’ve teamed with the fabulous sentiment set, Comfort and Joy.  To frame it I’ve used the Postage Stamp die – such a useful set!

Next up is the Holiday Glass set.  I stamped the poinsettia image twice so I could pop up the second one and add a bit of dimension.

Avery Elle … Carolling Critters

I’m sharing a card today using Carolling Critters from Avery Elle.  I should’ve posted this a few weeks ago but never got round to it – oops!  I used the gorgeous Falling Snow die on this too – LOVE this die – so useful!  I created the snowhills from the curved dies in Custom Panels – another great set of dies!

Avery Elle Spring 2016 Release – Sentimental

Happy LEAP DAY everyone!  Today I am sharing a card featuring one of the runaway success stories of the newest release from Avery Elle (to be fair, the whole release has been a runaway success – wow!).  The Sentimental stamps and dies are probably one the most useful and unique sets on the market right now.  It’s been suggested that I may need some sort of intervention over my heavy use of the Wonky Stitches die set (my most precious!!) but as I look at this Sentimental set – it may well be joining it!!  I have paired the HUGS die (arguably my favourite from the set) with the STUUUUNNNING Canopy stamp set.  I LOVE this stamp.  It’s so pretty.  I heat embossed the stamp in white and then used some Zig Clean Colour Markers to water colour inside.  I love the bright, vibrant colour you get from the Zig markers – they are fantastic.

Sentimental

I used Aquamarine cardstock (from a trimmed down notecard)  and die cut the hugs sentiment and a strip for layering behind my front panel.  To add a delicate detail to the front of the panel I used the scalloped edge from the Dotted Border Dies – another essential in your die collection!!

Please check out the Avery Elle Blog everyday for lots of inspiration from the fantastic Design Team.
