25 Days of Christmas Tags .. Day 4 Simon Says Stamp

25-days

Greetings!  Today I’m honoured to be once again joining in alongside my Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog Buddies with the lovely Tracey McNeeley on DAY 4 her annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags event.  It is a special occasion for us too as both the Monday and Wednesday teams are playing along – woohoo.  The generous peeps at Simon Says Stamp are giving away a $50 store card as part of this wonderful festive event – so make sure you leave a comment for a chance to win.

I created a couple of Christmas tags using the ever-so-useful Stitched Dress Up Tags from Simon Says Stamp.  They’re the perfect size and so easy to create a gorgeous little gift tag for any occasion.  I’m loving the Sugar Plum paper pad from My Mind’s Eye (thanks Aimes for the recommendation).  I also used a gorgeous stamp set from a SSS release from last Christmas, Peace on Earth.  One of my all time favourite Simon dies is the Perfect Bow – I love every chance I get to use it – it’s PERFECT!

The rest of my Simon sisterhood are sharing some amazing tags on their blogs so please make sure you check them all out.

And thank you Tracey for hosting another year of this wonderful event and for allowing me to participate.  It’s always so fun and I for one get a TON of inspiration from visiting the blog every day!

Thanks for stopping by xxx

Simon Says … Thinking of You

wed-newchallenge-header

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Anything Goes Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too

This week the challenge is

Thinking Of You

This week we are showcasing Penny Black Products.  You don’t have to use them for the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store

Ok, I know what you’re going to say … how does this card fit this week’s challenge theme of Thinking of You?  Well I can’t lie … it doesn’t!  I have been pretty up against it this week after being away on holiday last week, Halloween, my daughter’s birthday etc.  I had to make my card in a rush and whilst I have used a gorgeous Penny Black die, the actual challenge theme just went … poof.. right out the window, lol!!  I hope you like it anyway, lol!!

Avery Elle … Kitsch Christmas

blogheadersmall2

Hey!  I’m sharing a card over on the Avery Elle Blog today featuring one of the sets I designed for the Fall release this year.  I can’t deny I LOVE how this set turned out and I am so pleased that lots of people seem to love it too.

To frame my main image I used the Sweet Scallops die collection – I like how this adds to the retro feel of this card.  I used distress inks to add a bit of colour around the card edges and on the oval panel and finished with a few little stars and sentiment from Retro Ornaments.

Oh, and for those who have been asking – there’s a restock of all stamps due in the store at the end of the week – yay!!
