Pink is my favourite today!

So I have managed to combine 2 great challenges with this card. The first is for A Passion For Papertrey whose current challenge is monochrome. I still have some of the GORGEOUS papers and ribbon left which was given to me by the equally GORGEOUS Steph so have gone for my favourite colour – PINK! Which leads me nicely on to The Secret Crafter Challenge which is “Favourite Colour”. I did ruminate on this for a wee while as I have colour phases – have been enjoying orange of late – but when it came down to it, PINK is the ONE!

The papers are PTI Raspberry Fizz and I ADORE them. I will cry when I have used up the last of it. The flowers are also PTI stamps which I had left over from a previous card – it’s great when you find a use for something you had previously discarded. The ribbon slide was buried in my stash and I have added little frosted blings to the centre of the flowers. The little floral trim down the sides is actually hiding some rather dubious stitching but I don’t want to talk about that!!

Hope you’re all well on this bleak afternoon. I am loving all the comments in my blog candy post about your favourite crafting items. I have even discovered a few things I never knew about!!

Happy crafting everyone.

Hugs,

Charisma Cards challenge.

Here is my take on this week’s Charisma Cards Challenge which is a lovley sketch. I don’t really like the way it has photographed theough, the orange ribbon is much more subtle in real life!!

Not much time to chat tonight as my hair is dripping wet and I still have the lunchboxes and Olivia’s cooking stuff to organise for tommorrow. Someone tell me why I had 5 kids?!

A Spoonfull of Sugar – # 44 EASTER

We have a very appropriate challenge for you this week over at A Spoonful of SugarEaster. There is another fabulous prize on offer, £10 voucher from Silly Monkey Crafts so pop over and have a look at the other DT’s cards – they’re amazing (as always). Our GDT this week was chosen by Joanne and her name is Rebecca Clews. Her blog is gorgeous so go and have a wee look.

I have made a card using the gorgeous little Chick stamp set, Chick Ears. I love these little chicks. I have decouped him and glittered his bunny ears with Glamour Dust and diamond glazed the egg. I have used my trusty SU! scallop punch along the front panel of the card and the green gingham paper is from a big bundle I bought at Costco ages ago. Most of it is horrible but there are a few nice sheets in there.
Hope you can join in the challenge.
Hugs,
Caryn xx
