Cupcake Challenge and a geat blog to visit.

Morning all – don’t anyone make a loud noise, my head is a little, erm fuzzy this morning!! We had a great night last night with our gorgeous friends but a lot of wine was drunk and the good old AbbA Singstar came out again. At 2 am you could still hear our lyrical renditions of Dancing Queen and Fernando at the other end of the Wirral!! Good job our house is detached! lol
I made this quick little card yesterday for the challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenges which is a toughie this week – MONSTERS! I scoured my stash and couldn’t find a thing that would do but then came across a card on Joanne’s blog which features this gorgeous FREE downloaded dragon digistamp by Dustin Pike. He very generously shares his images on his blog for free so go and check him out – he’s FAB!

I had a bit of lovliness yesterday too in the form of some very lucious blog candy. I was lucky enough to win Sandy’s Cupcake stamps giveaway to celebrate her blogaversary AND her position on the Cupcake Craft Challenge DT. Thanks so much Sandy, I am thrilled. You should all go over and look at her blog – especially if you’re like me and love cupcakes! Sandy has some gorgeous things on there.

Off to have another coffee – my head is throbbing a wee bit now. Must’ve been the chocolate puddings!! ;o)

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND WHEREVER YOU ARE!

My new favourite stamp!!

Every time I try out a new stamp for the first time it instantly takes the place of my “favourite stamp”. As I buy more and more I love each one with a new passion!! That’s not to say I don’t love my old ones (when I say old, I mean the ones I bought last week and the week before!!) but there’s something about the latest one that just fills me with glee!!! This is my said latest aquisition, “Post box” by Sugar Nellie. It’s the same one as I’m giving away in my blog candy (thank heavens I bought two – otherwise I’d be away photoshopping that photo now!!). She’s lovely isn’t she? I have coloured her with my promarkers – love these so much – and added stickles here and there (round the edge of the image and on the flowers – you can’t see it though!!). This is my take on the sketch over at Sketch Saturday but I am also putting it into the challenge at Charisma cards which is “Favourite things”. It qualifies on two counts – favourite stamp (see above) and favourite thing – GLITTER of course!
We’re having a dinner party tonight for some friends and being the wuss that I am, I am repeating the exact menu I did for the Valentine’s meal I cooked!! It was all prepared in advance and took very little time to actually cook! Plus, which is a bonus, everyone liked it! lol. Must go and make my Lamb and Chorizo with tzatziki dressing starter! (ooh, get me!).

Friday Sketchers – more pink!!

This is one the best sketches I think I have ever followed. It is from this weeks challenge over at Friday Sketchers. At first glance it looked a bit tricky to me but when I started, the whole thing just fell into place so well. This is the last of the SU! papers from my prize from a few weeks back. I have loved them so much that I am now hosting a party (21st April – if you’re near the Wirral you’re welcome to come along!) so I can buy some more stuff. I could be converted to SU! The Gorguss girl has been cut out and popped. I am so pleased with this card which I have made for my niece Ellie whose birthday is in June – how organised is that?!
