Photography hell!!

A quick post to share one of the cards for Christmas.  I actually wasn’t going to post it because it caused me no end of grief trying to get a photograph of it!!  I used the Winter Wonderland set from Mama Elephant (after seeing on Taheerah’s blog – hence why this card HAD to go and live with her!!).  This photo is awful but believe me, it was the best I could get!  It looks much prettier in real life!

I actually decided I would share it as the Wednesday Challenge over at Simon Says Blog is “Ice Inspiration” and this fits the bill nicely!!  Just ignore the horrendous photography skills!!

Clearly Besotted Challenge – LOVE

Challenge Hello, here with details of this month’s challenge over at Clearly Besotted Stamps.  If you’re new to CBS then where have you been??? LOL!  Steph and Jenny are an amazing team who produce top quality stamps and dies, on trend designs and customer service that literally cannot be beaten.  I’m so lucky to be one of the design team members and every month starting at 10am on the 10th Steph hosts a challenge.  The only rule is you must use at least one CBS product to qualify for the prize.  The theme for the month of January is “LOVE” and with all the gorgeous stamps available at CBS I’m sure you will all come up with something beautiful!  Check out all the DT inspiration and full details on Steph’s blog.

So onto my card.  I have used the newly released Key To My Heart stamp set and dies and the Love Hearts stamps and dies.  I made a stencil using the Simon Says Stamp Falling Hearts die (one of my favourite products ever) and mixed some translucent embossing paste (tinted with food colouring gel of all things!!) to give me a soft pink shade to match in with the inks (Mama Elephant).

Many Thanks

Teaser Time Back again with another card featuring some of the new stamps and dies available on Monday 6th Jan at 10pm from Clearly Besotted Stamps.

Now, I’m just beginning to embrace this whole “gold” trend (I know, only a year behind everyone else) but after trying to photograph this card for over an hour, I’m reconsidering whether I made a mistake!!

Many Thanks (GOLD) The lighting it terrible and doesn’t show the shine but it IS there – honest!! The stripes are from the Basic Stripes stamp set and the frame and sentiment are from the new In The Frame stamp set – love how this one looks embossed in cream on kraft.
