Happy Easter

Ok, I know I’m a bit early – it’s not even Valentine’s Day yet!  However, I wanted to share this little gift packaging idea I saw the other day but for the life of me I can’t remember whose blog I was on!!  Please feel free to help me out if you know!!

happy easter gift

I have a medium glassine bag inside filled with Maltesers (yes – just as many went in my mouth as in the bag!!) inside the folded pocket.  The bunny and egg is from the latest release from Clearly Besotted Stamps – Hoppy Easter.  Cute eh?

Thanks for popping by xxx

Clearly Besotted February Challenge.

Challenge

Hey there.  It’s the 10th of the month which means there is a brand new Clearly Besotted Challenge over on Steph’s blog.  This time we have a gorgeous colour palette to inspire your creative juices!

And here’s my take on the colours and photo – I had to reach for my Tasty Treats set when I saw that scrummy cherry and the gingham block from Building Blocks provided the perfect little backdrop!

Feb challenge 2014I thought I’d show a little close-up of the glittery-ness – it never seems to come across in photos does it??

Just roll with it!

There’s so many people I’d love to give a card like this to – people who maybe just need to be reminded that sometimes, life just throws something at you and instead of stressing out about it (which achieves nothing) just chill out – roll with it!!  Of course, I include myself in those people – maybe I should keep it and stick it on my mantelpiece to remind myself to do it!!

just roll with it

I spent some of the weekend playing with more of my new goodies and this gorgeous sushi image (LOVE IT THE MOST) is from Calorie Free by Paper Smooches.  I’ve never owned any PS sets before and I have to say – they are fabulous to work with – great for a spot of colouring too – always good therapy!  The panel across the bottom is done using the one of the Border 1 dies – how useful is that going to be?!!  I can see myself using it quite a bit!  I coloured the sushi with Copics and then added a liberal coating of my clear wink of stella brush to a few areas (think I’m going to need to replace that soon!!)

Right, better get on with it – have a good week!
