Clearly Besotted October Challenge – Christmas

ChallengeHello – I know I’m VERY late with this (been chasing my tail and then spent the whole weekend nursing a horrible head cold) but I’m finally here with my post for the Clearly Besotted October Challenge.

The theme is Christmas – yay – my favourite!  I used the brilliant new set Ornamental Style in some not-so-traditional Christmas colours (love this combo).

The challenge win run for 2 weeks and a randomly selected entry will win a £30 Clearly Besotted e-Gift Card.  In order to qualify for the prize (open to everyone worldwide), please kindly adhere to the following:
  • Your project must contain at least one Clearly Besotted product
  • It must be posted on your blog or an online gallery and linked over at the Stamping and Sharing blog– direct link to post please
  • The closing date for entries is October 24 2014 (23:55 UK time)
  • Multiple entries are welcomed but must be a new project each time

Simon Says….Use Watercolours.

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the  Transport It Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is ,,,,,,,,

 USE WATERCOLORS 

there are so many options for this challenge, you can use watercolor paints, pencils, crayons, gelatos, distress inks, whatever you can think of. You can create backgrounds, color stamped images or die cuts, or color a stamp, spritz with water and use the direct to paper technique. The possibilities are endless and we are looking forward to seeing what you all create !

I recently picked up a stunning set of watercolours from Simon Says Stamp – the Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi 36 colour set.  WOW – they are SO pretty to look at, I just fell in love with them.  What I really liked about this set is the addition of the metallics and pearl palettes – so lovely.  A new addition to my stamp collection is the Altenew Persian Motifs set – they are screaming to be water coloured so that’s what I did!!
