Avery Elle Summer Release Blog Hop

HELLO!  You should have arrived from the lovely KAROLYN LONCON blog but if you’ve stumbled in here and want to go back to the beginning then click HERE!.

I’m SUPER excited to be joining in with the hop today – this release is just amazing!!!  Wait until you see what’s coming – your mind will be BLOWN!!  I am struggling to come up with a favourite but have to say this pineapple set called Stay Fresh is high up on the list!  I went all water-coloury for my card using my Kuretake Gamsai watercolour paints – you can almost taste the tropics with these colours, they’re so JUICY!  The aloha die is sold separately and I just love it – I cut it from black and white cardstocks and overlaid the white with just a wee tiny peek of black showing to give a little depth.  You can’t see it too well but I smothered it in glossy accents after that.

More Clearly Besotted teasers!

Whizzing in with a VERY quick post as I’m heading out to the Ideal Home Exhibition in about 5 minutes – can’t wait!!  I’m sharing another card I made with the Best Teacher set from the new release at Clearly Besotted –  need a few of these at this time of year! This time I stamped the apple with one of the new ombre ink pads from Hero Arts – love the effect of these on big solid stamps like this!

I also used the same inkpad to stencil a background area behind the apple and for the banner too.  A simple card but made more interesting with the graduation of colour – love these ink.

Make sure you take a look at the rest of the teams samples – they’er amazing!!
