Simon Says … Get In Shape!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Furry Friends Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is

GET IN SHAPE

We don’t mean start a diet and exercise regime, haha, nothing as drastic as that we are just asking for no square or rectangle cards this week!

We are showcasing LAWN FAWN PRODUCTS this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used

I am IN LOVE with Lawn Fawn products so am so happy that the DT are featuring them this week. One of the newest additions to my LF collection is So Jelly – I just love this set! I thought it would pair very nicely with the Fish and Bowl dies from Simon Says Stamp so although this is a teeny little card, it’s as cute as a button!!

I coloured the jellies with Copics and used distress ink to blend a simple background. I needed a short little sentiment to fit to decided to use the Milo’s ABC’s set to customise the card with the word Jello (as opposed to Hello – geddit??!!)!

Can’t wait to see all the shaped cards this week!

Avery Elle: Peonies

Hey there – I’m up on the Avery Elle blog today sharing a card using the gorgeous Peonies stamp set (designed by the equally gorgeous Heather Campbell). I did a fair bit of masking on this card to create my bunch of peonies in the corner of my water colour card panel. I embossed each image one at a time with white embossing powder then used Kuretake Gansai paints to colour the flowers. The sentiment is from the Cake and Candles set and I did a bit of snipping so that I could break it up instead of having it on one line.

Waltzing Mouse – more doughnuts anyone?!

Hello there – phew, what a frantic couple of weeks I’ve had! Just managing to grab a wee half hour to myself to share another I created as a guest designer for Waltzing Mouse Stamps. I’ve loved playing with these coffee and doughnut themed stamps – the sentiments are just fantastic! The images I’ve used on my card today are all from the gorgeous We Go Together stamp set along with the co-ordinating dies. Cute or what?! I used Copics to colour the images and then cut them out using the dies.
