BACK TO SCHOOL

Hey there!  Another scheduled post from me as I’m currently grabbing some wifi time in our Bangkok hotel room!  Ah, it’s a hard life, lol!

Not that I want to even think about it but this week’s challenge is all about Back To School – booo!  I want all posts to be about Summer – yay! I created a simple Good Luck card using products from the Simon says Stamp May 2015 Card Kit – which is still available to purchase if you’re quick!  I used some of the patterned paper from the kit to cover the front of an A2 card and then cut a circle using the MFT Cross-Stitched Circle dies from Slate cardstock.  I used the gold letter stickers from the kit to spell out Good Luck and then mounted the circle onto the card using foam adhesive.

 This is a scheduled post as I’m currently sunning myself in Australia and hopefully enjoying a long drink with a twist of ice and lemon!  I guess that was what I was dreaming about when I designed this card – hehe!  I used water colour paint to create the background then heat embossed the citrus sliced in white before painting them too!
