Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

I’m so excited to be featuring one of my favourite companies this week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Blog. I’ve also been playing with one of my favourite sets too – Be A Unicorn. The images in this set are just so adorable – especially the little “cutie marks” you can embellish them with!! I also used some of the new dies from the recent Spring 2016 release – Pierced Clouds – love these! I created a hint of sky by blending some Avery Elle Sea Glass pigment ink onto my card base and stamped some of the teeny stars onto it using the same ink. The little unicorns were coloured with Copics and I added some glitter to their horns and hooves!! I love how girly this looks!

Avery Elle … Skating By

Hello peeps – it’s Monday so as always I am sharing a card featuring one of the latest designs available from Avery Elle. Today it’s Skating By – a gorgeous, fun set designed by Jamie and perfect for little girls’ birthdays etc. I stamped the mages in the new Fog Dye Ink and then coloured them all in with Copics before die cutting. I stamped the dress and bow onto some glitter paper and pieced them onto the image too. As a surprise twist (NOT) I used the Wonky Stitches die to cut out my background panel from a mixture of papers from the Everyday and Brights collections.

My Favourite Things is one of my favourite stamp companies – they have such fantastic designs and everything just speaks to my style of cardmaking – clean lines, amazing dies etc. I am always excited to play with their products and have used three of my favourite products on my card today – the flamingo dies, the leafy greenery dies and the stitched vertical cover up die. To give it some fun texture I cut the foliage from some awesome green glitter cardstock (although I’d like to make it again and use felt just for a different look)! It’s really sparkly in real life but as usual the camera just doesn’t do it justice!!
