Avery Elle … Skating By

Hello peeps – it’s Monday so as always I am sharing a card featuring one of the latest designs available from Avery Elle.  Today it’s Skating By – a gorgeous, fun set designed by Jamie and perfect for little girls’ birthdays etc.  I stamped the mages in the new Fog Dye Ink and then coloured them all in with Copics before die cutting.  I stamped the dress and bow onto some glitter paper and pieced them onto the image too.  As a surprise twist (NOT) I used the Wonky Stitches die to cut out my background panel from a mixture of papers from the Everyday and Brights collections.

Avery Elle – Floral Frame

Hey  – today I have a couple of cards made using the STUNNING Floral Frames stamp set and dies from the latest Spring 2016 release from Avery Elle.  I have tried numerous times in the past to master the “no-line” colouring technique but failed miserably.  It always turned out as a HOT MESS, lol!  Rather than let it beat me I decided this stamp would be a great one to try again as it has lovely clean lines and open flowers.

For the first card I stamped the image in Memento Angel Pink ink and coloured it with Copic markers.  I die cut the sentiment from the A Tag For all die set in white and then coloured it in a ombre effect again with Copics.  I also used my favourite die – Wonky Stitches to create a bit more depth and dimension for the frame.

The second card also uses the no-line technique, this time stamped in Memento Desert Sand.  I think I’ve gone from hating this technique to LOVING it!

Avery Elle – Canopy

Today I’ve been playing with the gorgeous Canopy stamp set from Avery Elle – I have had so much fun with this stamp – it’s such a dream to colour.  This time I thought I’d place it with the vines growing up rather than hanging down – it just goes to show what a versatile set this is.  I used Zig Clean Colour markers again (becoming addicted to these) and embossed the image in white.  The sentiment is from the Best Ever stamp set – isn’t it so USEFUL??!
