Find Vodka and party!!

Hello again – this is my second post today – scroll down for my Clearly Besotted sneak peek card!!

I’ve been playing with more gorgeous Avery Elle goodies – I love that sentiment from Berry Good – seems like a good philosophy in life!  I am also in love with the Dotted Borders dies – an essential in anyone’s craft supply arsenal!

Dotted borders

I started by stamping and white embossing the lemon from Berry Good and then used water colours to paint it.  Once it was dry I embossed the sentiment in gold.  On the white panel I blended some Squeezed Lemonade distress ink and then added a few splatters of gold Heidi Swapp spray.  I added a little bundle of gold thread under the lemon die cut and then added it to the front of the panel.  I cut a piece of Avery Elle Daisy cardstock and die cut the edge with the zig zag border die.  I wrapped some more of the gold thread around the yellow panel and popped it up on the white panel with foam adhesive.  I mounted the panel onto a Mint To Be card base and finished it off with a few gold sparkle Doodlebug sprinkles.

Don’t forget to check out the Avery Elle blog every day for lots of inspiration from the amazing design team.

Avery Elle – Just a Note

Greetings!  I’m over on the Avery Elle Blog today with a card featuring the fabulous Just a Note dies.  They can be used standalone as a cute little gift card holder or added to a card as a little pocket for a hidden note or gift.

Just a note 2 Just a note

I die cut the smallest tag from the Gift Tags die collection and stamped a secret “Bonjour” to tuck inside the flap of the Just a Note die.  You could hide all kinds of little messages in there – I love it!  The Avery Elle Design Team shares new ideas and inspiration on the Avery Elle blog every day so make sure you keep popping back for some amazing projects – those girls ROCK!!

Avery Elle: Simply Said: YOU!

I’m over on the Avery Elle Blog today to share a card featuring the gorgeous Simply Said: You stamp set and matching die.  I love this series of products from Avery Elle – the font combinations are always really versatile.

you

I used a couple of the stunning papers from the Everyday Paper Pad and placed some vellum over the heart paper to mute it down a little and help make the YOU pop!  The little glittered chevron (from Chevron Bits) adds a wee bit extra detail and some essential sparkle!!
