It’s Anything Goes week again and this week I’ve been at it again with the MISTI and some FABULOUS multi step stamps from Altenew.  I love this stamp but I don’t think I’d use it if I didn’t have the MISTI – it takes ALL the effort out of it!  I didn’t have the dies when I created this card (I do now) so after stamping them in some yummy Simon inks I fussy cut them and mounted them on my card panel.  The splattering was done by splodging some Spiced Marmalade distress ink onto an acrylic block, spraying it with a Perfect Pearls solution and then flicking it on to the card with a paintbrush.

Avery Elle – Pop Up Wreath

Hello there on this frosty November afternoon!  Today I have a card created with the ingeniously clever Pop Up Wreath die from Avery Elle.  I ran the die through my Big Shot with a white panel cut to A2 size and mounted it onto a Sea Glass card base (from the Caribbean Collection note card pack).  I found a jar of Glitter Ritz fine glitter in a shade called Duck Egg which perfectly matched the Sea Glass colour so I took a piece of Stick It adhesive and put one side onto a sheet of thick copy paper (I didn’t use cardstock as I wanted it to be light).  I then used the bow dies and removed the top sheet from the paper giving me my sticky pieces ready to cover in the glitter.  I then used some Glossy Accents to add spots all over the wreath and added the glitter to them too.  Once dry I assembled the card and popped up the branches of the wreath – wish you could see the glitter properly – it’s SUPER-SPARKLY!!

Yay – Christmas – my favourite crafting occasion!  I love to make Christmas cards and with all the new products that have been released over the last couple of months I’m spoilt for choice.  My card this week is created using the Santa Suit Die-Namics from MFT.  I die cut the collar and front strip from white felt and just assembled everything together.  Although very effective, this card is so easy to create and loads can be made in one go if you just die cut a whole bunch at one time!!
