Flamingo wishes!

Hello all.  Today I have a card featuring some fabulous products from Simon Says Stamp.  They asked me if I’d like to share a couple of creations using SSS brand supplies so of course I said YEEEESSSS!!

Flamingo wishes

Now I may have mentioned this before but I have a daughter who is obsessed with flamingos – seriously , they’re everywhere in her room, on her clothes, in her bed!!  So when this SSS die designed by Kelley Purkey came out I knew I had to have it!!  Here I’ve used it to make a shaker card with some pink sprinkles that I’ve had in my stash for years.  I even nabbed one of her flamingos for a photo prop, lol!  I also used the Tilted Banners dies set a co-ordinating stamps exclusively from Simon Says Stamp.  She’s already grabbed this card for her own collection so I guess it won’t be going anywhere other than on her massive Expedit shelving unit along with all the other flamingo nik naks!!

Hello – RUSHING in with my card for the new Clearly Besotted Stamps monthly challenge!  I’ve been having some “issues” with my computer (hubby has a new one and has fiddled with this one which means I can’t get my photos to upload at the moment!!).  SO – the card I’m sharing ISN”T actually the card I made for the challenge!!  It’s one I made a while back but never got round to sharing – thank goodness for the “Anything Goes” theme this month!!!

gold thanks

Steph and the rest of the design team have some fabulous creations to share so make sure you check their blogs!

Avery Elle – Simply Said: HAPPY!

Hi everyone, back today with a card using the fantastic Simply Said: Happy stamp set and (fantastic) word die from the brand new Summer release at Avery Elle.  Did you manage to join in the blog hop over the weekend?  Amazing creations from the team huh?

Simply Said HappyI’ve gone quite CAS with this card as I think the rainbow HAPPY sentiment pretty much takes centre-stage!  I cut thin strips of Avery Elle cardstock and adhered them together with tape before running it through my BigShot with the HAPPY die.  I cut the word again from a panel of white cs along with a smattering of stars (the dies are from the Storybook Elle-ments collection).  It was a fiddly exercise but I then inlaid the rainbow word into the negative space on the white panel and then popped the panel onto a white A2 base with foam adhesive.  The birthday sentiment is from Simply Said: Happy stamp set.
