I got home to some gorgeous happy mail today … my Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit! This is one of my favourites yet – the colours are perfect and the stamp set is just gorgeous. I didn’t waste any time getting stuck in – here’s what I’ve created so far:
I don’t think I’m done with this kit by any means – I absolutely LOVE IT! Looks like hubby will be getting a few extra Valentine’s this year, lol!
Greetings! I’m over on the Avery Elle Blog today with a card featuring the fabulous Just a Note dies. They can be used standalone as a cute little gift card holder or added to a card as a little pocket for a hidden note or gift.
I die cut the smallest tag from the Gift Tags die collection and stamped a secret “Bonjour” to tuck inside the flap of the Just a Note die. You could hide all kinds of little messages in there – I love it! When I saw the featured companies this week were Glitter Ritz and Wink of Stella how could I not be more thrilled. Glitter just makes EVERYTHING BETTER! I created this little 4-bar sized card (my new favourite size) with just a few gorgeous supplies – the Mini Hearts die from Simon Says Stamp (probably one of the items that would be on my desert island assuming there was a Big Shot too!!), some narrow double sided tape, glitter and a stamp! I love the fine glitter from Glitter Ritz and the Robin’s Egg colour is just STUNNING! The red hearts are actually cut from my everlasting sheet of red glitter wrapping paper I bought about 2 years ago! I love these two colours together – so pretty!
