I was recently contacted by a fellow crafter in search of the Avery Elle Balloon Alphabet dies. I still had them in my stash so I sent them off to her. Before I did though, I wanted to create a card to send with them so created this.

I used the Concord and 9th Plaid background stamp set and die cut the letters from Distress Watercolour card and finished with Glossy Accents.

I added strings and some clouds and that was it finished!

This week the challenge is

GET IN SHAPE

(no square or rectangle cards)

We are showcasing Altenew Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I went for a simple tag shaped card by die cutting a large tag shape from pink cardstock ( I used a retired Avery Elle set but a similar one is available by Mama Elephant HERE). I adhered it to an A2 card base and trimmed the corners off giving me the card base shape. I then used the Altenew Watercolor Stripes Stencil on a piece of white card using Distress Oxide ink in Shabby Shutters and die cut it using the Lawn Fawn Rounded Rectangle Stackable Dies.

I die cut various foliage and toadstool shapes from the Tim Holtz Funky Foliage die set and coloured them with Copics before arranging them onto the card front.

To finish I die cut the Wishing sentiment using Simon Says Stamp die.
